Rowen is baby number three and it’s no surprise that I am one busy Mama! I love researching the best baby gear, especially things that will help make our life easier, and (a little) less chaotic. I’m excited to be partnered with 4moms Canada— a company that believes in making life easier– to share a review of their incredible baby gear with you! 4moms is all about creating innovative products– think magnetic-high-chair-and-dishes-innovative– I mean, how cool is that?!
This post is sponsored by 4moms Canada. This is an honest product review and all opinions expressed are my own.
Last year our two year old got her first pair of prescription eyeglasses. Today I’m sharing our experience with a toddler wearing glasses and answering the questions we are most commonly asked. If you’re curious to know how we found out about our daughter’s vision problems and what brand we turn to for durable and fun glasses frames– read on! This blog post is sponsored by Alternative & Plan B Eyewear, our chosen eyewear provider.
With Christmas upon us, and New Years just around the corner, it seems another year has flown by. Time is a funny thing with kids– the pace increases, yet reflecting back so much has happened in a seemingly “short” time. What they say is true, the days are long but the years are short.
Each year I look back on all of our memories and milestones while creating an annual Chatbook for each of the girls. These books capture everything from the big moments–birthdays, celebrations, and events, to the the little ones– breakfasts, slow days at home, or time passed at the park– and everything in between.

Anyone else notice the toll the dry winter air takes on your skin? Not to mention the severe lack of Vitamin D some of us face for weeks on end, leaving things a little, well, dull feeling. You with me? And truth be told, ever since having children my skin has been on a bit of a roller coaster. I like to use natural products as often as possible, and today I’m sharing a few natural products that help me feel refreshed.
Hygee (pronounced hue-guh): a Scandinavian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment. Yes. Please.
Is anyone else all about the cozy right now? Or always? Maybe I’m Danish at heart. Happiest when found wrapped in a blanket, in comfy clothes, drinking extremely hot coffee or tea with friends or family. So, there’s nothing more fitting than me sharing a few cozy-inspired gifts and stocking ideas for the Mamas this year. Who knew that gifting socks & bath products could look so gorgeous 😉
The Christmas countdown is on, and if you’re like me you’ve got a few last minute gifts to wrap up. I don’t love crowds, but I do love shopping when everything is so festive! (Perhaps not ever having worked in retail during the holidays has contributed to this. 😉 )
I’ve teamed up with Scallywags, my favourite local children’s shop, to give one winner a $50 credit to shop for those last minute stocking stuffers! Scallywags stocks quality products and beautiful small shop goods, this is truly the store to browse for the absolute best products! Entering is easy, details are at the bottom of this post!
Sometimes I think about this online world of ours and how so much of our social lives are online. I’ve made some amazing connections and I truly have friends in this online community. I look forward to seeing the latest posts of their kiddos, reading a funny story from their day, or exchanging advice mama to mama. The best connections often arise when we really get to know someone, the person behind that pretty Instagram feed.
This month I am excited to feature a collaboration that encourages us to tell our stories. Because really, what’s more fun than reppin’ your own life?! I’ve been on a journey to be me this year, and this collaboration is a perfect fit.
Spring is here and we’re getting ready for our next holiday festivities (of course!) I love holidays and having the girls has taken this to a whole new level. #sorrynotsorry. I’m a sucker for holiday anything.
I put the girls’ Easter baskets together this weekend and they turned out so sweet! Yes, my kids don’t need anything, but no, I’m not willing to forgo holidays in favor of minimalism. I enjoy it too much! I am becoming more mindful of what goes into the basket (less throw away junk, more stuff that we use or need). I’m also getting smarter and buying more of the same things for the girls despite their age difference. Lately they have to have what the other has.
I don’t know about you, but over here we are (rather desperately now) dreaming of summer. Anyone else feel like this winter is never ending? It seems that we’ve had a few glimpses of spring (and we immediately commence conversations about riding bikes, blowing bubbles and hitting the park) and every. single. time. winter shows up the very next day to prove us wrong. Sigh.
