Where: Summerland Arena and Aquatic Centre
What: Free community family activities all weekend including family swimming, skating and sport ball demo and crafts!
Lake Country Museum Crawling Critters
When: February 17 and 19, 1 – 4 pm

What: Learn about the natural world of bugs at the Lake Country Museum
Okanagan Science Centre Events
When: February 17 and 18
Where: Okanagan Science Centre, 2704 BC-6, Vernon
What: Check out two shows this Family Day weekend: the Planetarium Show, that explores different aspects of space and Gyro Chair rides, a specialized training tool for pilots and astronauts meant to simulate what an uncontrolled spin in microgravity would feel like!
Oak and Cru Kids Eat Free

Where: Oak and Cru, 1310 Water Street, Kelowna
What: Up to two kids (12 years and under) per two paying adults eat for free!

Where: Ellison Heritage Community Center
What: Start family day weekend with a breakfast treat! Homemade pancakes, hot coffee, tea and a special hot chocolate treat! Bring the family and share a morning together. Cost $5. Registration required.
February 18
Family Day Adventure Quest
When: February 18, 1:15- 3:15
Where: Mission Creek Regional Park
What: A family-friendly scavenger hunt in collaboration with CRIS Adaptive Adventures. Test your family’s skills in solving puzzles and completing tasks that challenge the body and mind. This inclusive and exciting event includes prizes for participating teams. Be prepared to play outside and walk up to 4 km. Ideal for families with children ages 5 to 12.

Family Day at the Kelowna Art Gallery
When: February 19, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Kelowna Art Gallery, 1315 Water Street
What: Families have the opportunity to express their creativity together and to connect through art in a fun and safe environment: each family member can create their own silly self-portrait which can be strung together to form a unique family banner! Registration required.
Family Day at the YMCA
When: February 19, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: Kelowna Family Y
What: Families can enjoy crafts, carnival games, a bouncy castle and face painting free of charge!
Families of the Okanagan

Where: Okanagan Heritage Museum, 470 Queensway Avenue, Kelowna
What: Celebrate BC Family Day with games, artifacts, activities and crafts and the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Learn all about Okanagan families past and present including syilx communities, settlers of Kelowna, furry families from the animal kingdom and a fan favourite, dinosaurs!

The Moose Cruz Scavenger Hunt
When: February 17 and February 18
Where: 5315 Big White Road
What: Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to discover every nook and cranny of the ski resort while competing for fantastic prizes! Stop by the Activities Desk located in the Village Centre from 8:00 am on event days to collect your clue card. Bring your clue card back to the Village Centre between 2:00pm – 4:00pm on February 18th, visit the Events Tent, claim your reward and enter for a random prize draw.
