I cannot believe my first baby will be heading off to Kindergarten this year! I have a five year old? I’m in total disbelief. Miss V on the other hand is so ready for Kindergarten. She’s been writing notes for her teacher and putting them into her back pack all week. The cutest. This is a list of our top five kindergarten must-haves! Read on if you’re getting ready for back to school and needs some tried and tested products!

My Month: April Faves
Spring has truly sprung! April brought a little rain, so much sunshine, and promises of summer on the way! We had a busy month prepping for our business’ prime season, so we found some balance playing outdoors with the girls. No agenda, no place to be, just good old fun outdoor play. The sunshine is so refreshing after a long winter and we are going to ride the outdoor play-all-day mantra for the next six months straight. Since the month seemed to fly by, I’ll keep this monthly recap short and sweet!
Below are a few of my favourite things for April!
Little Library: Valentine’s Books for Preschoolers
Happy February– the month for all things love and kindness! Our first Valentine’s Day Little Library book round-up is for the preschoolers! These books have heartfelt messages, beautiful illustrations, and a few familiar faces from book series that this age group loves to read! We are always encouraging our kids to be kind, and it’s wonderful to read these thoughtful stories together that encourage kindness. We hope you LOVE these as much as we do! Happy Valentine’s Day! xo
Little Readers: 5 Fun Books that Rhyme
To be fair, most children’s books rhyme– and really, they all should, shouldn’t they? (Or is it just me who gets a bit annoyed when a kids’ book doesn’t rhyme… insert that little eye roll emoji right here…) I love the flow and rhythm created by rhyming stories, and so does Vienna. She spends a lot of time “reading” books lately and I love listening to her make up little rhymes (some aren’t words at all, of course) and she mimics the rhythm and rhymes of her favourite stories. It’s so sweet. Here are five of our favourite books that rhyme! I’ll have to do subsequent versions of this list because it was nearly impossible to only pick five.
