Happy February! The month of LOVE is here and we can’t way to spread some positive vibes, and kindness! This easy activity is a meaningful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with kids. We started this a few years ago, and our kids love finding a new message each morning. It’s a great way to start the day on a positive note, build confidence for your little ones, and fill their bucket each day! The best part is that the notes are written from the heart and celebrate and recognize all of the beautiful, unique things about your child. I hope you’ll join us and create daily Valentine’s affirmations for kids and spread some extra positive love this month! xo
Can you believe that Christmas is just over a month away? We are so excited– the Christmas season is so much more fun every year older the girls get! I’m sharing a few of our most loved toys, great for ages 2-5. Of all the toys we have these are the most well played with over the years. I hope you find some fun ideas for the littles on your list!
If you are following along on Instagram (@mamawrites), you’ll know we are participating in #bookishplay this month: encouraging kids to have stronger connections to books through sharing book-inspired play! We’ve been enjoying some fun activities all month, and this week is my favourite! It’s all about enjoying everyday life and moments together.
Today is Earth Day! V came home from preschool this week excited to tell us things that we can do to celebrate Earth Day: help pick up garbage in our community and conserve water and power were the two items on her list. We devoted some time to both of these things, and hope you had the chance to get out with your kids and pitch in, too!
