I don’t want to sleep like a baby, I just want to sleep like my husband.

One of my favourite memes, ever. If you’ve had a newborn and watched your husband sleep through those many night wakings, you know exactly what I’m talking about. As a Mom of three, I’ve been through the season of newborn sleep a few times. Our oldest daughter was an amazing sleeper– if you count sleeping only on people in two-hour chunks. We eventually turned to sleep “training” at four months old, and she truly did become an amazing sleeper. Since that experience, we have placed a high value on our family’s sleep.

Our sweet Aria has officially outgrown her nursery! If I wasn’t pregnant with one more baby right now I would (most definitely) be sobbing over this milestone. It seems like everything changes once they move into a big kid bed, doesn’t it? Aria is 3.5 years old, but is still so tiny. She was also quite content in her crib, not to mention we liked the security of it 😉 … But, all good things must come to an end, I suppose.

It seems that we’ve had a few glimpses of spring (and we immediately commence conversations about riding bikes, blowing bubbles and hitting the park) and every. single. time. winter shows up the very next day to prove us wrong.
