Easy Christmas Morning Cinnamon Buns

Christmas Cinnamon Buns

One of my favourite Christmas traditions is making cinnamon buns to enjoy on Christmas morning. They are the most indulgent breakfast ever, and pair perfectly with presents and a little fancy coffee. This recipe is incredibly easy, and can be put together in five minutes (…as in at midnight after finishing your wrapping!) šŸ˜‰

You Need

Cinnamon BunsĀ 

  • 18 frozen dough rolls
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of vanilla instant pudding powder
  • 2 Tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Cream Cheese IcingĀ 

  • 4oz of cream cheese
  • 1/4 of cup of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups of icing sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of milk

Directions

Cinnamon Buns

  • Grease a 10ā€³ bundt pan with butter
  • Add frozen dough rolls, lined up around the bundt pan
  • Sprinkle roles with brown sugar, pudding powder, and cinnamon
  • Pour melted butter on top
  • Cover with a clean, damp dish towel
  • Leave on counter overnight
  • Bake for 25 minutes @ 350
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before turning over onto serving plate

IcingĀ 

  • Soften cream cheese for 30 seconds in microwave
  • Use a hand mixer and beat all ingredients together, adding one at a time in order list above
  • Warm icing and drizzle over freshly baked Cinnamon buns
