FARM & ORCHARD FUN
A visit to these popular Okanagan farms & orchards is a fall must-do!
DAVISON ORCHARDS
Location: 3111 Davison Road, Vernon, BC
Pick Your Own Apples Experience
What: Experience the farm by picking your own apples! Enjoy a tour of the orchard on the Jonny Popper Train, then fill your bag with fresh apples from the tree. Farmers will take you to the apple rows, share about the different available apple varieties, and show you the expert way to pick an apple.
When: Wednesday – Sunday in September, 10 am – 4:30 pm
Cost: Pick your own 10lb bag of apples + tour (adult or child) $15; pick your own mini bag of apples + tour (child only) $8; tour only adults: $7.50, child: $4.50 (2-12 years old)
U-Pick Pumpkin Tours
What: Take a Johnny Popper tour to the Pumpkin Patch and pick your perfect pumpkin!
When: Wednesday – Sunday in October, 10 am – 4:30 pm
Cost: Pick any size pumpkin & tour: $10; Pumpkin tour only: adults: $7.50, child $4.50 (2-12 years old)
What: Get a beautiful fall family photo in the pumpkin patch! Meet at the white tent in the pumpkin patch.

DON-O-RAY FARMS
What: Feed and pet the pony, goats, ducks, silkie chickens and bunnies; explore the hedge maze; and get colourful airbrush tattoo (free with admission)! Visit the market place to purchase ice cream, snacks and pumpkins from their huge selection!
When: Open Friday – Sunday until October 31, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (hours may be changing, please confirm in advance with the farm!)
JANZEN GARLIC ACRES
What: Petting zoo and other fun farm attractions including sandboxes, outdoor play spaces, cow train rides and hayrides, and a petting zoo where you can feed the animals.
When: Wednesday to Saturday 9:00 am-5:00 pm and Sundays 2:00 -5:00 pm
MCMILLAN FARMS
Location: #1 – 3690 Berard Rd, Kelowna, BC
What: Tractor hay rides showcasing the 110 acre farm and fun activities including a corn maze and a giant sling shot to shoot gourds or apples through. The petting farm (visit for free!) includes pigs, pygmy goats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, a llama and more. There is an onsite concession with drinks and snacks for purchase.
When: Opening day Saturday September 25th! Book your tickets in advance here.
Cost: Children (ages 3 to 13)$5.00, Adults $8.00 Fun pack admission includes hayride, corn maze and sling shot for 1 person. Food and pumpkins available for additional cost. General admission (excludes activities) $3 per person.
O’KEEFE RANCH
Location: O’Keefe Ranch, 9380 Hwy 97N, Vernon
What: Family Daze in the Corn Maze! Tons of family friendly activities, including the corn maze, meet and greet with the goats and donkey, the general store, a model railway exhibit, wagon rides provided by the Pioneer Power Club and bonfires.
When: Every weekend in October from 11 am – 4 pm
OKANAGAN PUMPKIN PATCHES
If you are looking for a great pumpkin patch experience, two highly recommended patches are The Pumpkin Patch (St. Anne’s, Armstrong) and Bilga Farms (Kelowna). Buy your pumpkins early to get the best pick and store them outside (in the garage or cold room) until closer to Halloween!
Bilga Farms
You can’t miss this place when driving down Rutland Road!
Location: 1900 Rutland Rd. North, Kelowna, BC
When: Open daily in October!
St. Annes Pumpkin Patch
This place has thousands of pumpkins, in addition to gourds, ornamental corn, and a variety of squash. Pick your own pumpkin and take some fall pictures on the hay wagon (no rides).
Location: 642 St. Anne’s Road Armstrong. Follow the pumpkins past O’Keefe Ranch!
When: Dawn til Dusk, October 1-31.

Corn Maze Activity
Date: Monday – Saturday 9- 5 pm, Sunday 12 – 4pm.
Location: Corner of Cooper and Benvoulin Rd.
What: Walk through a 5 acre corn maze and play a clue-like farm scene investigation game! Adults $12.60; Seniors $10.50; Students 13-16 $8.40; Kids 6-12 $5.25 ; 5 & under free
Kokanee Salmon Interpretation
Date: Every weekend from September 24 until October 10 from 11 am to 3:00 pm.
Location: Hardy Falls and Mission Creek Regional Parks
What: Kokanee spawning season has begun! Thousands of our fresh water, land-locked salmon will leave Okanagan Lake and swim upstream in creeks and streams to spawn in their natal waters. Join a Park Interpreter at one of two key spawning locations and discover the importance of the fall spawning phenomenon and the life cycle of Kokanee salmon.
Cultural Days 2021
Date: September 24 – October 24, 2021
Location: Rotary Centre for the Arts
What: Performances, demonstrations, art, music, dance & activities happening all month long! See the full list of activities and calendar of events! Cultural Days is a national campaign that promotes inclusivity, awareness, participation, and engagement in arts and culture in Canadian communities.
Downtown Kelowna Scavanger Hunt
Date: September 24 – October 24
Location: Downtown Kelowna
What: Explore arts and culture in Downtown Kelowna through a month long scavenger hunt! Sponsored by the Downtown Kelowna Association, the scavenger hunt features public art, exhibitions, cultural landmarks, and community venues as checkpoints! This is a free, family-friendly, fully-accessible activity that allows you to experience art and culture on your own time PLUS a chance to win exciting prize packages.
East Kelowna Harvest Moon Market
Date: September 26
Location: East Kelowna Hall
What: Celebrate the Harvest Moon in the countryside of East Kelowna. “All Local, All Love” East Kelowna Tote Bags gifted to every 20th guest, and a creative art creation activity. Community, crafts, creators, and live music.
Gellatly Nut Farm
Date: September – November
Location: Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park is a 4-hectare park located on the shores of Okanagan Lake at 2375 Whitworth Road, West Kelowna
What: Due to COVID-19, the Gellatly Nut Farm Society is not operating the store, but have adjusted procedures for public nut harvesting. Bring your own bags. Payment is on the honour system: and cash only must be deposited into the payment box at the house. Small bucket (one pound): $5.00; Large bucket (four pounds): $20.00.

Kelowna Corn Maze

What: A popular Kelowna Corn Maze since 2011! Leave yourself 30 + minutes to walk the maze.

AB Farm Corn Maze

Field of Screams O’Keefe Ranch

What: Field Of Screams Okanagan is one of the most significant Halloween events in British Columbia. This year is bigger and better than ever with a total of four mazes. The event runs the entire month of October and has multiple ticket tiers available. Advanced purchased tickets required.
Myra Canyon Halloween Scare Park

What: Myra Canyon Halloween SCARE Park is back with new attractions ! There will be age-appropriate fun and scares for younger children.

Spooktacular Pumpkin Walk
Date: October 30, 5 pm – 8 pm
Location: Mission Creek Regional Park
What: Drop off your carved pumpkin at the EECO on either Friday, October 29, 1 to 4 p.m. or Saturday, October 30, 12 to 3 p.m. (please use an LED light in your jack-o-lantern). Dress up for Halloween, tour the paths lit up by jack-o-lanterns

Halloween Day Events
East Kelowna Sunday Spooky Market
Date: October 31, 10 am
Location: 2704 E Kelowna Rd, Kelowna
What: This market will be filled with all sorts of spooky surprises to have a fang-tastic day! Over 45+ artisan, crafter and food vendors to shop, eat, drink and be scary! Special treats for children along with a family monster walk outside of the hall filled with ghosts, witches and other spook-tacular things! Come dressed up to enter a best-dressed costume! Kinshira Performance Troupe will be in attendance from 12 noon to 1 pm.
